In the recent BBNaija eviction show that held on August 4, 2019, it was revealed that Mike got the highest number of votes from viewers.
This came as a surprise to many as many expected that controversial housemate Tacha will lead in the results. One of those who reacted to the unexpected result is popular Nigerian socialite Noble Igwe. The man urged Tacha’s fans to hold a town meeting and discuss this.
According to him, the fact that Mike got more votes than Tacha poses as a problem especially when one considers the fact that Mike was relatively unknown before Big Brother Nigeria.
His post reads:
Clearly people don’t know problem looks like. Mike had more votes than Tacha and you don’t see the need for an urgent town hall meeting? It’s not hate. Until BBN, Mike was relatively unknown in Nigeria.

Later, when an Instagram post highlighted Noble Igwe’s statement, many Nigerians backlashed him for what he said. To defend himself, Noble Igwe wrote a comment in which he explained himself more. noble_igwe:
“I think the problem with most Nigerians is comprehension. It’s really English and this is what I tweeted. Tacha’s team are always saying that she’s going to be here for 99 days and will always get the highest vote. I just tweeted that “ The don’t know that they are in trouble seeing that Mike who was not known in Nigeria is getting more votes than them and maybe they need to hold a town meeting to help their fav”. It’s really that simple. Read again.”
