Relationship expert, Joro Olumofin took to social media to share an email he received from a lady whose husband has been sharing her breast milk with her baby.
According to the lady, she’s not producing enough milk for her 3 months old baby because of her big boobs. She further stated that her husband isn’t helping matters because of his passion for breast milk.
Read the story below:-
Hello Joro. Good afternoon. I have something bothering my mind and I don’t know if this is normal. My husband and I just had a baby 3 months ago. I have been on exclusive breastfeeding. I have big boobs but don’t produce enough milk. They say it happens most times, big boobs don’t really have much milk like people think and it’s true on my case.
Now my problem Joro, when I express milk into feeding bottles for my baby to eat when I can’t breastfeed directly, my husband drinks it. Them when I need to feed her, there won’t be breast milk in the bottles, and my boobs will not have engorged yet. Maybe this won’t be a problem if I produce enough milk but it’s starving my baby. I spoke to him about it and he laughed that the milk is too sweet but he’ii reduce it because of our baby since it’s not enough. Now he Googles “how to increase milk supply” everyday and wants me to be able to produce milk for both of them. I try to drink pap and custard (my MIL told me) to increase my milk supply but it doesn’t work much.
In a nutshell Joro. I need to know if this is normal, if it’s allowed, and if there’s any advice on how I can increase my milk supply for my two babies. I don’t like oatmeal, I saw it on Google that it helps. Please nobody should insult ny husband because I too drink the milk sometimes and it’s indeed sweet.
