A video has surfaced of a Nigerian Policeman who recounts how a man pretended to be the Vice President of Nigeria, Osibanjo but ended up duping himself and his wife.
According to the Police officer, his wife received a call from man who pretended to be Osibanjo saying he wants to gift her some huge amount of money for her business. The man reportedly asked for an account number the money could be sent and in excitement, his wife sent the Police officer’s account details to the caller.
The Policeman claims that after his account details were sent to the number, his account started getting debits as they were withdrawing his money from the account. The officer says he wants everyone to know what happened and although the culprits have not been found or the means they used to withdraw his money is yet to be identified.
The Police officer also revealed that he has already reported to SARS and will take it up at the Police Headquarters as well. He is disappointed that a man duped him, a Policeman under the pretense he is the Vice president.
