Zlatan Ibile after his nomination in the category went on social media to throw shade at his competitiors claiming that even though they were in the same industry, it did not mean they were in the same category.
In a post on his instagram page he wrote “We fit they the same School! Mago Our Department no be the same O ! #KELEGBEMOEGBE O Ayiiiiii”, indirectly shading Rema and the others in the Next Rated category.
Unfortunately for Zlatan, the judges and fans did not think he was above the artistes but rather below them as he lost out on the award to Mavin Records signee Rema.
Rema’s award is well deserved as he has released three very good EPs in less than a year since he started his music career.
He has gained worldwide recognition as well and even found his music on Barrack Obama’s playlist.
